FAQ | SRP Pro Series Fans
Everything You Need to Know About SRP Pro Series Fans
What’s the difference between the SRP Pro Series and Performance Series fans?
SRP Pro Series fans provide higher airflow (CFM) and much stronger static pressure, making them ideal for demanding applications like dense radiators, intercoolers, and shrouded systems. The Performance Series is better suited for general-purpose cooling, classic builds, and custom setups that don’t require high pressure.
How are the SRP Pro Series fans controlled?
Pro Series fans are PWM-only. They are designed to integrate with modern ECUs and fan controllers. If you need a fan that can run on direct power or PWM, the Performance Series is a better fit.
Can I run Pro Series fans without a PWM controller?
No. Pro Series fans require PWM control to operate and are not compatible with direct power/ground. For universal power options, check out our Performance Series fans.
How are SRP Pro Series fans mounted?
- The 10" Pro Series fan uses a flush mount design—best for custom installs, brackets, or flat-panel mounting where flexibility is needed.
- The 12" and 14" Pro Series fans are designed with drop-in mounts. These are designed to fit into existing shrouds or radiator assemblies, especially in racing, off-road, and high-performance builds.
Can I install an SRP Pro Series fan myself?
Yes, our fans are designed for easy installation and can be installed by anyone with basic mechanical skills. However, for guaranteed optimal performance and reliability, we recommend professional installation.
Are SRP Pro Series fans compatible with MoTeC, Holley, or other ECUs?
Yes. All SRP Pro Series fans accept a standard 50–500Hz PWM signal, making them compatible with most aftermarket ECUs, including MoTeC, Holley, Haltech, AEM, and other programmable systems.
