Steele Racing Products is an innovative technology company, specializing in automotive cooling systems for racecars all around the world.
Since 2013, Steele provides the best and highest performant brake, tire and driver air-conditioning systems than any other competitors on the market. Today, race teams and racecar drivers trust our products by providing a competitive advantage amongst the rest.
Developed by a passionate group of well-rounded, experienced engineers, our products are meticulously designed inside and out. Our process involves precision CNC machining for the mechanics and custom PCB manufacturing for the electronics. We believe in application-based engineering systems to create the most robust and reliable product.
With a simple idea of addressing heat issues in brakes, tires and gearboxes using a custom small axial fan system, Steele Racing Products was started in 2013. Andy put the focus back on racecars that are plagued with tires reaching critical temperatures, brake rotors overheating, and gearboxes succumbing to heat soak. His commitment in providing racecars with a superior solution to the racing community remains at the forefront of his mission at Steele.
One of the first electric high performance, brushless axial fan systems used in racecars was designed by Robert. He helped pioneer electric powered fan systems in the early 90’s with a successful RC jet business that served thousands of customers around the world. His contribution to the early development of Steele Racing Product’s fan system paved the way to new heights in the racing industry. Today, Robert is the Chief Engineer on new product developments for Steele.
Dr. Kevin Greer is a software architect with a background in mechanical and electro-mechanical product development in a variety of different industries. He is the principle creator of Steele Racing Product’s driver AC system, designed around the combination and optimization of thermoelectric cooling and aerodynamic airflow. Kevin is responsible for leading Steele’s current and future product lines through design, development and deployment.
A military veteran in the U.S. Navy and electrical engineer, Sean handles the day-to-day production needs at Steele Racing Products. During his service, Sean handled mission critical electrical needs on aircraft carriers, destroyers and FOB’s. An automotive enthusiast with years of experience building motorcycles and tuner cars from the ground up, he is a necessary asset to our core mission in the racing industry.
A military veteran in the U.S. Airforce, Sean is our welding professional and hands-on fabricator. Sean has expert experience with the assembly and quality assurance of our products. He is responsible for our off-road product endeavors and day-to-day operations that keep us ahead of the pack. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Geiser Bros with their fabrication techniques, Sean is paving the way to a brighter future for Steele Racing Products.
Sam is an accomplished business development expert with a career focus in the automotive industry. From wrenching on his own vehicles at a young age and learning the practical skills of processes, he is responsible for managing new opportunities at Steele Racing Products. Sam works as the technical liaison with race teams in NASCAR, IMSA series, Blanc Pain Endurance series and more. His accomplishments help bridge the gap between engineering and product sales.
An expert software programmer and test engineer, Colin’s expertise spans across a wide variety of unique and novel solutions. With an academic background in electrical engineering, renewable energy, and database systems, his contribution to our mission of providing the best cooling solutions in automotive racing is integral to our operations. His primary focus at Steele is towards product development and quality control of our core and future products.
The SRP AC system is one of the hundreds of upgrades the latest G6 chassis comes standard with, and is also available for other off road applications. The SRP AC System is very impressive, I mean just look at the turbine, it looks like it’s out of a mini jet.
After searching and testing fans for over a year with no success in finding a solution that would actually lower belt temps we came across SRP fans. The results have been phenomenal. Finally a fan that moves enough air to provide a viable solution in lowering belt temps and prolonging belt life. And the fit and finish is top notch.
