Steele is now offering a DIY brushless motor upgrade kit for your Can-Am X3. Once you have your radiator fan/shroud off your vehicle the motor upgrade takes less than 10 minutes to install.
STEELE fans are an off-road-ready system, capable of handling all weathering conditions and protecting against sand, mud, water, fog, and chemicals.
Designed with performance and longevity in mind, the power and control electronics are integrated within the sealed motor to ensure a longer useful life and reliability.

Programmed into every fan is our soft-start technology. Avoid costly electrical problems by mitigating voltage and amperage spikes across the system due to poor power management systems found in other fans.
We realize that not everyone has the time to custom build a new shroud or mounting bracket when purchasing a new fan system so we developed a proprietary hardware kit that allows us to upgrade your OEM setup without changing any of your stock mounting setup.
OEMs normally provide a standard SPAL brushed fan on new vehicles because they are simple to wire and sometimes provide sufficient cooling for non-aftermarket platforms. STEELE understands what it takes to keep a vehicle running cool when it comes to high performance, especially leveraging our brushless technology in other non-standard STEELE fans.
On average, our brushless motors perform 20% better than any stock SPAL brushed fan with a direct replacement of our motor.
